Louvers | Extruded Adjustable

Our extruded adjustable louvers and combination louver-damper products are capable of an enhanced level of air flow control through their flexibility and adjustable design. This product line is perfect for systems requiring only periodic operation or systems that require the ability to completely control airflow.

We make a variety of adjustable louvers based on our standard louver offering, with a number of blade styles and depths.  In addition, we also make a line of combination louver/dampers that bring together a fixed louver with either a control or backdraft damper in a single frame, eliminating the need for the greater clearance requirements of a common sleeve arrangement.

Adjustable louvers can be controlled with a variety of operators: manually, crank, chain, electrical or pnuematic, all capable of completely shutting air out when necessary and also allowing maximum flow with minimum outside element and water penetration. Utilizing auxiliary switches on the operators allows for interlinking of the operation of our adjustable and combination louvers with the building's fan system and a greater degree of control: when the system is off, the adjustable louver (or control damper in the combination models) is able to remain in the closed position for a tight seal; when the system turns on, the louver or damper is able to be opened in sync for maximum on-demand ventilation. For our combination louver-dampers with backdraft dampers, the system flow and pressure dictates the operation of the backdraft damper in a similar synced manner without the need for active control.
