Dampers | Back Draft Dampers
Backdraft dampers are designed to allow airflow in one direction and prevent reverse airflow, and can be used for both intake and exhaust applications in HVAC systems. Backdraft dampers may be opened by air pressure differential and closed by gravity (hence the common name gravity dampers), that is, the system pressure and flow operates the damper, or motorized with an electric or pneumatic actuator for a greater degree of positive control. Adjustable and removable counterweights allow for calibration of damper operation. Our round and square/rectangular backdraft damper line below provide effective, energy-saving solutions for the medium pressure and flow levels commonly found in commercial HVAC systems.
