Model UFA-12 accomplishes a dual function of weather protection and airborne sound reduction with lower pressure drop performance and better sound attenuation than straight blade models due to its airfoil shaped blade design.
 

Airfoil blades have the added benefit of greater strength as well. Standard construction is galvanized steel filled with high-quality mineral wool insulation, and this model is also available in aluminum and stainless steel variants.
